The Little Gym is so great. Jacob loves it. Jacob is 4 years old, and loves the Karate class. He has so much fun, and has made many little friends. We love going to The Little Gym, even though it’s a little drive for us. They have the perfect classes for toddlers, and my husband has been wanting Jacob in Karate, so this was perfect. The instructors are so wonderful with the little ones. They also take their time, and are very patient.
With Karate, Dance, Kinder music, Sports Skills and Gymnastics to choose from for the little ones, there’s a lot more too. Check out the site listed below, but before then, check out the other great things about The Little Gym.
The most important self-defense technique is self-confidence—and thatʼs exactly what your child will gain through The Little Gym Karate Classes for kids. Students learn fundamental karate blocks, punches and kicks in a positive, noncompetitive environment, with the addition of gymnastics techniques for a fun twist on the ancient martial art. Obstacle courses, high energy music, skill-based activities and games create fun learning opportunities to help kids gain the focus needed to excel in the gym, in the classroom and everywhere else they go in life.
You can put in your zip code, and see where the nearest Little Gym is to you. Like I stated above, it’s a little bit of a drive for us, but well worth it. These instructors are wonderful with children. You’d have to be to have such a job.
To further explore the serious side of Serious Fun, each of our programs is broken into themed, multi-week Learning Units that lead to a natural progression of skills throughout our Core Season, into our Summer Session and from one year to the next.
In each Learning Unit, physical activity is a conduit for Three-Dimensional Learning. In every dimension, self-confidence and a proud smile are evident outcomes.
